Tara looked around, trying to work out where abouts the voice had come from in the room,
"No... I can take care of myself..."
She lied, although she was sure he would be able tell by the nervous tone she had used. For some reason he could always tell when she lied, her parents had always been able to tell when she lied, it was to do with her Angel heritage, she had been brought up knowing honesty was the best choice, so lieing would always be a new task for her. She jumped again as she heard the thunder crash outside, and she tried to think back to the glowing mansion she had grown up in, but it didn't work anymore, the comfort of the light had gone.

Walking out from behind Tara Dracula pulled her into his person as he patted her head. "Its alright to be afraid, we all are..." He responded trying to sooth her down from the storm outside.

Tara leaned against him, trying to block everything out again, even though it was already too late. She put her arms around him as another crash of thunder was heard outside,
"What are you afraid off?"
She questioned, she had never thought of Dracula being scared of anything, after all it was more everyone was afraid of him, so she hadn't ever thought he would have a fear himself.

Feeling her question pierce something that hasnt been touched in years he sighed as he patted her head. "Being alone...." He spoke as the thunder crashed outside.

Being so close to him again caused her hair to change back into its dark state, but her eyes remained the angel blue color. She flinched again at the thunder, but it didn't scare her as much now that Dracula was there.
"But... you've always been alone..."
She pointed out, looking up at him, her blue eyes flashing as Lightening struck again outside.

"On the contrary, I've always been here... with them..." He mentioned as some spectres floated about outside as another lightning bolt struck a tower in the distance. "And you come here... alone... before a storm...." He mentioned out as he let out a sigh.

Tara jumped and closed her eyes, burying her face into his neck as the lightening struck the tower, she could hear the people crying and screaming about the tower with her heightened senses, and normally she would be over there in a second, acting the hero and putting out the fire that had ignited when the lightening struck before attacking and drinking from them. But tonight was different, she wasn't about to venture out in this storm, especially when they were so high above the town... in such a vulnerable place for the lightening to strike. As she managed to block out the screams she pulled back from him slightly,
"I always come here alone... Always. You never see me though... apart from the times I try to kill you!"
She smiled at her comment, thinking about the last time she was here... without him knowing. She had managed to avoid him while she wandered around the castle, keeping to the shadow so the spectres wouldn't see her while they wandered through the rooms.

Hushing her down as the tower burst into flames not as soon as it caught flame it was extinguished by the rain, leaving more scars at it did so. "Oh?..." Dracula commented as he felt her nuzzle him.

"Yea... you're castles beautiful you know... some of the rooms still look untouched, its like visiting the past..."
She replied, smiling up at him. Her eyes travelled down to his neck and she thought back to how she had felt before she had come, her plan. She could see the vein pulsing beneath the skin and she thought about how she had been planning to attack that exact point... but now that wasn't going to happen. She knew it wouldn't, it was like how she couldn't say she hated him, something would hold her back, stop her from piercing his skin with her teeth. she let out a sigh as she continued to watch the pulsing vein, running her tongue across her teeth, feeling the points.

Laughing at her he held her chin as he looked into her eyes. "Biting me wont kill me tara.... you know that......" He responded with a slight annoyance in his voice as she still thought of killing him. Pushing her back he turned his back as he walked over to a door to his quarters as a few ghouls appeared behind him. "After all that, you still wish me dead do you not?"

Tara fell backwards as he pushed her away and, after regaining her balance, watched him go. She was slightly annoyed that he had known that she was playing with the idea of biting him, but sighed, walking after him slowly, ignoring the ghouls.
"Who said I was going to kill you... Bites aren't always to kill you know!"
She stated, speading up slightly and placing a hand on his shoulder as she caught up with him.

"Well... you were gazing at my vein were you not?" He responded with a chuckle as he moved her hair so he could see her neck, the marks of his puncture still somewhat visibile as he moved a finger over the wound. "Still there too...." He grinned out

Tara tilted her head to the side as she felt his finger run across the marks that had lasted for over 200 years,
"They won't fade..."
She replied, memories flashing through her mind, the moment he caught her in his castle... hiding under a table, the moment he bent down, the pain as the fangs struck, the struggle for conciousness... She returned the present, her clouded eyes returning to normal as she looked back up at Dracula,
"Just because I was looking at your vein... and thinking about biting it doesn't mean I was thinking about killing you!"

"Than what were you planning?" Dracula smirked out as the ghouls disappated from the reality that they were in. "Were you planning on this?" He replied as he bent down and sunk his twoo fangs back into the holes he made 200 years ago, although unlike before it was more pleasureable than painful since he wasnt trying to harm her.

Tara took a deep breath as she felt the points of his fangs against the old wounds, her hands gripping tighter on his arms as she readied for the pain, but although she felt the wounds reopen and his fangs sink deeper into her vein, the pain never came. Instead a more... likeable sensation spread across her body, and she loosened the grip on his arms,
"You read me like a book, Dracula!"
She whispered to him, keeping her head tilted to the side as she felt the blood flowing out through the vein into him, blonde streaks appearing in her dark hair.
